India significantly broadened its electronic visa programs — the e-Tourist and e-Business Visa portals now accept applications from 211 countries. This aims to attract more international visitors quickly and streamline entry for business travellers and tourists alike.
Starting 1 October 2025, all foreign travellers arriving in India must complete a digital e-Arrival Card before immigration. This new online system speeds up arrival procedures and replaces the older paper disembarkation form.
